Composition
Army Lists will be checked in order to ensure legality within the appropriate rule book(s). Remember when constructing army lists, opponents will be giving a sportsmanship score that will be based on behavior during the game as well as how fun/miserable it was to play the list.

Open List
This tournament is open list. Players are asked to bring multiple copies of their list to give to their opponent pre-match.

Special Characters
Special ("Named") characters are only allowed with approval

Terrain
All terrain will be set up by event organizers prior to the beginning of the tournament. Players are not to move terrain prior to the start of their game. If terrain is moved during the normal course of the game, players are to make every effort to replace the terrain back to its starting position as soon as possible.

All hills block the line of sight of a model, even to Large Targets.

Behavior
Players that behave in a way that is contrary to the spirit of the tournament may receive a Flagrantly Unsportsmanlike Conduct foul and may be asked to leave the tournament in addition to any measures taken by the venue staff/owners.

That being said, the MEATSHANK gaming group is well acquainted with many of the players from the local community & beyond. Given the extraordinary friendliness of the players in the region, we are certain that these extreme measures will not be needed. Happy gaming! :-)

There are also strategic objectives for each game where players can earn additional battle points no matter the outcome.

Tabled Enemy Bonus 2 Battle Points

Sportsmanship Points (Making the Event Fun)
Each player will start with 38 sportsmanship points. At the end of each game, players will be asked the following question, “Did your opponent’s list and/or behavior honestly make this game a miserable experience for you?” If the player answers “yes”, then their opponent will potentially lose some of their starting sportsmanship points.

1 Bad Game Mark -0 Sportsmanship Points
2 Bad Game Marks -19 Sportsmanship Points
3 Bad Game Marks -38 Sportsmanship Points

Each player will also select one game that was their favorite to play during the entire tournament. The more best-game-votes a player gets, the more Sportsmanship Points that player will earn.
